Vegetable Communication

Communication studies focusing on conveying information about and the appeal of vegetables and fruits. Understanding the role of a vegetable sommelier and cultivating the ability to express and convey ‘deliciousness’ and impressions in one's own words.

Introduction to Vegetables ①②③

Through these three introductory courses, you will acquire basic knowledge about vegetables and fruits. This includes topics that deal with production, distribution, how to discern good quality produce, storage methods, and characteristics. You will also deepen your understanding through conducting taste comparisons of vegetables and fruits, as well as comparisons based on different cooking methods using a variety of cutting and heating methods. Additionally, we will introduce how to go about conducting assignments (Vegefru Carte) in these courses.

Vegefru Science ①②

From the perspective of nutrition and health, you will learn about the nutrients in vegetables and fruits, their effects on the body, and how to best incorporate them into your diet. You will also gain an understanding of the current situation concerning dietary habits and lifestyle-related diseases and learn how to select correct information from the abundance of health-related information available.

Vegetable Cookery

You will learn the basic cooking methods for vegetables and fruits, as well as how to create recipes that highlight their characteristics. The goal is to expand your repertoire of vegetable dishes and further enrich your diet.
